Scott Colyer – CEO
Scott Colyer is the CEO of Advisors Asset Management, Inc. (AAM),
an institutional fixed income broker/dealer, investment advisor and Unit
Investment Trust originator. Previously, Mr. Colyer served in the capacity of
First Vice President of both Prudential Securities, Inc. and PaineWebber Inc.
Mr. Colyer was the founder of the Sterling Companies in 1998 which merged with
FIS in early 2002. With nearly 20 years industry experience, Mr. Colyer has
become a highly respected and accomplished fixed income strategist and
investment counselor. Mr. Colyer received his BA from Pittsburg State
University distinguished academics in 1982. He earned his Juris Doctorate Cum
Laude from Washburn University School of Law in 1985.
Randal J. Pegg – Executive Vice President
Randal J. Pegg is a Principal and Executive Vice President of the Structured
Products division for Advisors Asset Management. Previously Mr. Pegg served as
a Financial Consultant for Smith Barney providing investment advice and support
to retail investors. Mr. Pegg has over sixteen years of investment experience
with a majority of his career spent specifically in the fixed income arena.
Over the past eight years, Mr. Pegg has provided educational seminars for
financial planning organizations. He has supported the National Association of
Personal Financial Advisors, the Financial Planners Association, and is now
helping independent broker dealers understand the benefits of offering
structured products to their clients. Randal graduated with a Bachelor of
Science in Finance and Economics from Midwestern State University where he
finished in the top 1% of students that competed in the National Collegiate
Investment Challenge.
Brad Livingston - Vice President Structured Products
Brad Livingston is a Vice President of Structured Products for Advisors Asset Management. Brad has 12 years in the financial services industry working with such companies as MetLife and Citibank. It was with Citibank that Brad was the top producing financial executive every year he was eligible. It was also there he came to appreciate bonds, structured products, and other alternative investments. Brad holds a BBA in Marketing from Texas A&M University and an MBA in Finance from University of Texas at San Antonio.
